Planning a Cape Coral Vacation

Planning a Cape Coral vacation can be almost as much fun as the vacation itself. Almost!

For many people, a vacation starts at the planning stage; it’s just all part of the fun. Where shall we go? Where shall we stay? How do we get there? What is there to do when we get there? Who’s coming with us? What do we need to take?

These are all extremely important points to take into consideration, but planning a Cape Coral vacation can be so much fun, you see, there’s so much to do when you get there you need to make sure that you’ve found out all about it, before you even start the car or step onto the plane.

Where Shall we Stay in Cape Coral?

There are plenty of great places to choose from which make an excellent base for your vacation. Make sure that your chosen accommodation is well within reach of the things which you want to do the most, you don’t want to waste valuable vacation time traveling for hours on end every day you, get there, have fun, get back, that’s what it’s all about. The type of accommodation really depends on your budget and how many people are in your party, for example, a couple might like to spend their holiday in a cozy little hotel by the waterfront, whereas a larger family or group of friends might find it more convenient to book into a vacation rental and go self catering.

How do We Get to Cape Coral?

The nearest airport to Cape Coral is Southwest Florida International Airport which is only about 12 miles from the center of Cape Coral, so if you’re flying in that’s where you need to be heading (they say you can get from baggage claim to the beach in less than 30 minutes so have your swimwear handy). Of course, if you’re lucky enough to live in that part of the world already, you might prefer to drive.

What to Do in Cape Coral

This one is going to keep you busy for hours, especially if there are lots of people to please in your party, you see, there are so many great things to do and see that you’ll have to be really brutal and decide which things you can bear to leave out – never mind, there’s always next year.

What to Take to Cape Coral

Don’t worry about forgetting anything in Cape Coral, you’ll be able to buy it when you get there, but for those who like to start packing their suitcase weeks before the vacation even arrives, don’t forget sun cream or sun block, plenty of beach and swim wear, loose light clothes, sun glasses, mosquito repellent, a camera, a good book, oh, and don’t forget your toothbrush.
